Day 01

Arrival Delhi

Warm welcome at the Airport by India World Travel representative and check in to the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
 

Day 02

Delhi

After breakfast, guided tour of Delhi, which is also called as the heart of India. It was built on the plains near a fording point on the Yamuna River, and on the route between western and central asia and Southeast Asia. Its believed to be the site of the fabled city if Indraprastha, which featured in Mahabharata more then 3000 years ago, but historical evidences suggests that the area has been settled foe a mere 2500 years. Visit to the Raj Ghat memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid: the largest mosque of India, Chandni Chowk: bazaar bustling, crowded and historic and outside the Red Fort: very majestic when ceremonies take place officielles. Shopping at Connaught Palace. In the afternoon visit the Qutub Minar built in 1199, Humayun’s Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Lakshminarayan Temple – a modern Hindu Temple. Walk also before the Presidential Parliament House and Government Secretariat buildings. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.
 

Day 03

Delhi – Jaipur

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur. Jaipu, Rajasthan’s capital, is an enthralling historical city and the gateways to India’s most flamboyant state. The City’s colorful, chaotic streets ebb and flow with a heavy brew of old and new. It is named after its founder, the great warrior – astronomer Jai Singh II, who came to power at an age 11 after the death of his father, maharaja Bishan Singh.Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 04

Jaipur

After breakfast, a guided tour to Jaipur. Excursion to Amber Fort with an ascent to the fort on majestic elephant. Visit splendid monuments: The City Palace and Museum, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the « Jantar Mantar » fabulous historic astronomical observatory. In the evening, visit Galta jee to soak in the atmosphere pure, meditative and alive through his temples and kunds (tanks). Overnight at the Hotel.
 

Day 05

Jaipur – Ranthambore

After breakfast moving towards Ranthambore, which is famous for its national park and is considered as the best place to spot wild tigers in Rajasthan. The national park is comprising 1334 sq km of wild jungle scrub hemmed in by rocky ridges, at its center is the amazing 19th century Ranthambore fort. Scattered around the fort are ancient temples and mosques, hunting pavilions, crocodile filled lakes and vine covered Chhatris. But seeing a tige is partly a matter of luck. Day 06

Ranthambore

After breakfast guided tour in Ranthambore. Safaris takes place in the early morning and late afternoon. The mornings can be very chilly in open vehicles. The best option is to travel by jeep gypsy. Overnight at hotel.
 

Day 07

Ranthambore – Fetehpur Sikari – Agra

After breakfast, drive towards Agra via Fatehpur Sikri. This magnificent fortified ancient city, 40 kms west of Agra,w as the short lived capital of the Mughal empire between 1571 and 1585 during the reign of Emperor Akbar. Lunch on the way and moving towards Agra. Agra – The magical allure of Taj Mahal draws tourists to Agra like moths to a wondrous flame. And despite the hype, its every bit as good as you have heard. The legacy of the Mughal empire has left a magnificent fort and a liberal sprinkling of fascinating tombs and mausoleums. In 1501 Sultan Sikander lodi established his capital here, but the city fell into Mughal hands in 1526, when emperor Babur defeated the last Lodi Sultan at Panipat. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 08

Agra – Orchha

After breakfast drive to Orcha. It is a historic village on the banks of boulde – strewn Betwa river which showcases some fabulous architecture similar to that of neaby Khajuraho, albeit without such high quality artistry. Orchha was the capital of the Bundela rajas from the 16th century to 1783, when they decamped to nearby Tikamgarh. Bir Singh Deo ruled Orchha from 1605 to 1627 and built Jhansi fort. Day 09

Orchha – Khajuraho

After breakfast drive to Khajuraho, where the erotic carvings that swathe Khajuraho’s three groups of World Heritage – listed temples are among the finest temple art in the world. Be aware that missing out on Khajuraho means missing out on some of the most beautiful temples in India. Legend has it that Khajuraho was founded by Chardravarman, the son of the moon god chandra, who descended and saw a beautiful maiden as she bathed ina stream. Historians tell us that the chandela dynasty built the temples, many of which originally rose fom a lake. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 10

Khajuraho – Bhandavgarh

After breakfast drive to Bhandhavgarh, it was reputed to be the hunting reserve of the royal family of Rewa. And if yopur sole reason for visiting a national aprk in India is to see a tiger, look no further. Here we almost sgurante you a tiger sighting in this relatively small park that boasts the highest density of tigers in India. As well as the star attraction, there are also more then 40 leopards and more commonly sighted animals such as deer, wild boar and langur. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 11

Bandhavgarh

After breakfast, excursion into the Jungle to explore the fauna and flora. The Bandhavgarh National Park takes it name from an ancient fort perched on top of 800 m high cliffs. Its ramparts provide a home for vultures, blue roch thrushes and crag martins. The park is entered at the small, laid back village of Tala – 32 km fom Umaria, the nearest station. Overnight at the Hotel.
 

Day 12

Bandhavgarh – Kanha

After breakfast, drive to Kanha. Madhya Pradesh is the king of jungle when it comes to tiger parks and Kanha is the most famous. The forest are vast, and while your chance of seeing a tiger are probably slightly slimmer than at nearby Bandhavgarh. You can really go deep into the forest thanks to the parks huge core area surrounded by a large buffer zone.Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 13

Kanha

Early morning safari where the sal forests and vast meadows contain more then 200 tigers and leopards and support huge population of deer, antelope, including extremely rare barasingha. There are a plenty of langur monkeys, the odd gaur and maybe even a family or two of wild boar. The park is also a home to more then 300 bird species. Overnight at the Hotel.
 

Day 14

Kanha – Nagpur – Delhi

After breakfast, drive towards Nagpur airport to take domestic flight for Delhi. Evening in Delhi. Overnight at the Hotel.
