Whether you are looking for adventure or seek the peace and tranquility of the backwaters or are on a gastronomical journey to satiate your palate you will find it all in this belt of India. Unleash your adventurous spirit as you take on Canoeing and Kayaking, paragliding, rock climbing, trekking and other water sports. Those seeking the spiritual world have the option of visiting the famous temples that will not only satisfy the religious cravings but will give a taste of the beautiful architecture of yester years.

Festivals are the best time to experience the culture and tradition of a place. Festivals like Pongal, Onam, Vishu, Thrissur Pooram, Kerala Boat  and Temple festivals, Maha Shivarathri etc showcase the culture of these states. Unlike the north Indian food, food from down South is much lighter and is rich in terms of spices, sea food and vegetables. Rice is the staple diet and the flavor of coconut and sesame is prominent. Dishes like Dosa, Idlies, Uttapams and Appams are for vegetarians while the non-vegetarians can revel in all kinds of sea foods and meats. Some famous must haves are the Chicken Chettinad, Rasam, Poriyal, Medhu vada, Arcot Biryaani and mutton chops to name a few. For the sweet cravers there is the divine Pyasam, a kheer made with jaggery, coconut and rice. Take on this thrilling Royal Enfields tour of South India and let the adventure begin!!
